Message	I would limit yourself to imports; any domestic for under $1k will surely be a waste and give you more problems. Not to say that an older Honda or Toyota wouldn't. It's too bad you're anti-Honda, because for the price range you want those are some of the best bang-for-the-buck used cars. I bought a '95 Integra for my DD and it's reliable beyond belief. Have you considered an older Subaru Impreza?
